LED’s are gaining popularity and gradually replacing older illuminationtechnologies. Unlike fluorescent or neon tubes, which have a 360°angle of dispersion, LEDs typically have a much narrower angle of40°-140° and under traditional lighting covers (opals and diffusers)appear as tiny spots of light. This undesirable phenomenon isreferred as “hot spots”.
PLAZIT-POLYGAL ACRYLED CAST sheets feature high light transmission,uniform light diffusion and high “hot spot” dispersal power. ACRYLEDCAST sheets enable sign makers and designers to enjoy the benefitsof LEDs and create elegant solutions that are cost effective and ecoefficient,while enhancing intensity and colour. Sheets are free ofplasticiser, heavy metals, halogens and fire retardants. They canbe machined and heat processed like standard acrylic sheets andcomply fully with ISO 7823-1 standards.
ACRYLED CAST sheets from PLAZIT-POLYGAL come in two standardwhite shades, offering a “warm” and “cold” feel and can be suppliedin a wide range of special colors: blue, red, green, yellow, and more.
